Class Experience
Campers will embark on a journey to uncover the mysteries of the past, exploring fossils, ancient artifacts, and the fascinating creatures that once roamed the Earth.

Welcome to a captivating week of creative exploration at our summer art camp - ARTcheology! This unique experience combines the worlds of art and archaeology to provide your child with an enriching and thrilling adventure. Imagine a week where your little ones transform into budding archaeologists, discovering the wonders of prehistoric times through a delightful blend of artistic expression and educational exploration.

Class Highlights:

• 🎨 Dates: August 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th.
• 🎨 Times: Half-day 8:30 AM until 12:00 PM
• 🎨 Drop-off any time from 8:30 AM until 8:45 AM. Activities start at 8:45.
• 🎨 Early Drop-off any time from 8:00 AM until 8:30 AM. for $5.00 a day.
• 🎨 Pick-up is at 12:00 PM.
• 🎨 Later pick-up, call us to make arrangements. There will be an additional charge. 
• 🎨 Age: 5 to 11
• 🎨 Price: $225.00. 10% sibling discount ($202.50 each after your first child)
• 🎨 Size: Maximum of 18. Small group ensures plenty of one-on-one time.
• 🎨 Staff: There will be four members tending to the campers.
• 🎨 Supplies: Penelope Fox Art Studio supplies all materials

Class Structure:

ARTheologist Learning:

• Daily sessions will delve into the fascinating world of archaeology, introducing campers to the methods and tools used by real archaeologists. Through interactive lessons, children will gain insights into prehistoric times, exploring the creatures that inhabited our planet long ago.

Creativity Exploration:

• Individuality is celebrated as children express themselves through various art mediums, bringing their unique perspectives to the archaeological theme. Campers are encouraged to explore their creativity by adding their special touches to each project.

• This diverse range of materials allows for a comprehensive exploration of artistic techniques, providing a well-rounded creative experience.

Small Group Setting:

• With a low camper-to-instructor ratio, your child will receive personalized guidance, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Instructors

Jina D.
Jina Dierolf is the founder of Penelope Fox Art Studio. She is a graphic arts graduate who worked as a web designer and freelance artist from 2003 to 2012. Jina has showcased her artwork in solo and group exhibitions across US cities. In early 2013, she inaugurated her personal studio dedicated to teaching art to children. The studio has since grown to offer diverse art courses catering to individuals from beginner to intermediate levels. Jina leads her classes with warmth and encouragement, helping students express themselves freely and embrace their creativity.
