Summer Art Camp Week One: Art Around The World

Our dedicated instructors will guide campers through hands-on activities, fostering creativity and honing artistic skills.

Embark on an artistic journey with our captivating "Art Around the World" summer camp! Designed for young creatives, this week-long experience promises a perfect blend of education and fun. Throughout the week, campers will explore the rich tapestry of global art, discovering techniques, styles, and renowned artists from diverse corners of the world. From vibrant paintings inspired by European masters to imaginative collages reflecting the spirit of African art, every project is a step towards a broader cultural understanding.

Class Highlights:

• 🎨 Dates: June 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th
• 🎨 Times: Half-day 8:30 AM until 12:00 PM
• 🎨 Drop-off any time from 8:30 AM until 8:45 AM. Activities start at 8:45.
• 🎨 Early Drop-off any time from 8:00 AM until 8:30 AM. for $5.00 a day.
• 🎨 Pick-up is at 12:00 PM.
• 🎨 Later pick-up, call us to make arrangements. There will be an additional charge. 
• 🎨 Age: 5 to 11
• 🎨 Price: $225.00. 10% sibling discount ($202.50 each after your first child)
• 🎨 Size: Maximum of 18. Small group ensures plenty of one-on-one time.
• 🎨 Staff: There will be four members tending to the campers.
• 🎨 Supplies: Penelope Fox Art Studio supplies all materials

Instructors

Jina D.
Jina Dierolf is the founder of Penelope Fox Art Studio. She is a graphic arts graduate who worked as a web designer and freelance artist from 2003 to 2012. Jina has showcased her artwork in solo and group exhibitions across US cities. In early 2013, she inaugurated her personal studio dedicated to teaching art to children. The studio has since grown to offer diverse art courses catering to individuals from beginner to intermediate levels. Jina leads her classes with warmth and encouragement, helping students express themselves freely and embrace their creativity.

Nicole C. 
Nicole Conklin, an experienced artist and educator, began her artistic odyssey in 2016 at Penelope Fox Art Studio, fostering creativity in both children and adults. Stemming from a lineage of self-taught artists, Nicole's life has been a canvas for artistic expression. While briefly delving into psychology and earning a Montessori teaching certification, her heart always resonated with artistry. Her journey through social work and education honed her ability to cultivate supportive environments. Nicole creates a warm classroom ambiance where each student feels embraced, aiming to unlock the inner artist in everyone. She guides them to uncover their unique styles, encouraging creative leaps, patience, and joy in the process. Beyond art, she immerses herself in nature, cherishes moments with loved ones, and indulges in Bristol Borough's history and freshly brewed coffee. Embrace the joy of artistry with Nicole at her upcoming events and classes, allowing her nurturing guidance and unwavering passion to ignite your child's creative journey.
